Overview and Scope
This Refund and Returns Policy governs the process for returning products and obtaining refunds for purchases made from Celestial Perfumes. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our sacred essentials, ceremonial items, and refined fragrances. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted for all product categories, including Altar Items, Books, Crosses/Crucifix, Musical Items, Perfumes, and Sutana and Loins.
General Return Eligibility Period
You may initiate a return for most items within 30 days of the original delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging, including any protective seals, tags, or documentation. Items returned outside of this 30-day window will be considered for store credit only and may be subject to a restocking fee.
Exclusions: Non-Returnable Items
Due to the intimate, sanitary, or specialized nature of certain products, the following items are designated as final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Perfumes: Any fragrance that has been opened, unsealed, or partially used.
- Sutana and Loins: Any garment that has been worn, laundered, altered, or is not in its pristine, original condition with all tags attached.
- Books: Any item of literature that shows signs of reading, creasing, or damage.
- Custom or Personalized Items: Any products that were made or engraved specifically for your order.
Required Documentation and Condition
All returns must include the original receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back without first receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our customer service team. Items received without an RMA number may be refused and returned to the sender. Please ensure returned goods are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
Return Procedures: Initiating a Request
To start a return, please contact us via email at MRSSONIOLA@GMAIL.COM. In your email, please include your original Order Number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Our customer service team will review your request and, if approved, will provide you with the RMA number and detailed instructions on where to send your package.
Damaged or Defective Goods Policy
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) at MRSSONIOLA@GMAIL.COM. We will provide a pre-paid return label and will, at your preference, send a replacement item or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs. For quality assurance, we may require photographic evidence of the damage before processing the return.
7. Specific Policy for Altar and Musical Items
Altar Items (e.g., vessels, chalices) and Musical Items (e.g., instruments, bells) are checked for functionality and craftsmanship before shipping. If a functional defect is found upon arrival, we will cover all return and exchange costs. Returns for these categories due to buyer’s remorse (non-defective) must be pristine and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
8. Shipping Costs for Returns
The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning an item due to buyer’s remorse (e.g., size, preference, change of mind). Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., incorrect or defective item).
Refunds and Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to post to your bank or card account may vary by institution.
Exchanges Policy
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send an email to MRSSONIOLA@GMAIL.COM to check inventory and receive exchange instructions. If the product is no longer in stock, a full refund will be offered.
Restocking Fees
In cases where items are returned in less than perfect, but still saleable condition, or after the 30-day window but within 60 days, we reserve the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 25% of the item’s original price. This fee covers inspection, cleaning, and repackaging expenses.
